February Meeting & Future Meeting Plans

Friday, February 9th…

The Oregon AMS is back at it again as we march towards spring.

• We are in the process of finalizing our annual winter weather recap meeting at Golden Valley Brewery in Beaverton. Most likely that meeting will be on Wednesday March 13th in the evening.
• The summer picnic is back this year! Save the date Saturday July 27th…late afternoon start once again at Mark Nelsen’s home out in Corbett.
• Our February meeting is coming up NEXT WEEK, so please get this one on your calendar.

February Oregon AMS Meeting

What: The National Weather Service Portland’s New Public Zones. Meteorologist Colby Neuman will give an overview of the following;

The NWS’s current public weather zones, examples of why they wanted to change these zones and what it will all look like when these changes are implemented.

When: Thursday, February 15th @ 7pm (6pm social hour)

Who: Guest speakers;  Meteorologist Colby Neuman, National Weather Service, Portland
