OCTOBER MEETING

When: Saturday, October 28th 2023 @ 10AM

Where: OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) in Portland

NOVEMBER MEETING

When: Tuesday, November 7th 2023 @ 7pm (6pm social hour)

Where: Stark Street Pizza in SE Portland

Subject:Climate Change Tipping Points…the untold story of William Dansgaard”

How will future climate change look like? Will it be a progressive/linear or chaotic/abrupt pathway?  The answer may be hidden in the millennia glacial ice record of past climate change.  Come learn how a Danish scientist, Dr. William Dansgaard, who studied the Greenland ice-cores, uncovered an amazing story of ancient climate change.  His groundbreaking work, backed up by native Inuit oral history, may predict our global future and implications for the PNW. All are welcome.
