May Election Meeting Recap & Presentations

It was another great turnout (~30 members) last night at Stark Street Pizza to end the 2021/22 Oregon AMS season. Jenni Hastings and April Vogt’s presentations were extremely compelling and informational. Both women are excellent public speakers and we are lucky to have them as Oregon AMS members! ELECTION RESULTS

The annual executive council election was a big success this year, with approximately 65-ish ballots returned via email and in-person at the election meeting last night. Special thanks to all of our members who voted and to our election committee (Mark Nelsen, Bobby Corser and Tyree Wilde). This was the highest voter turnout in a number of years. Here are the results;

President – Steve Pierce (reelected / unopposed)

Vice President – Bobby Corser (reelected / unopposed)

Secretary – Mark Nelsen (reelected / unopposed)

Treasurer – Phil Welke (reelected / unopposed)

Councilor 1 – Tyree Wilde (reelected / highest votes received)

Councilor 2 – Pete Parsons (second highest votes received)

Councilor 3 – Sara (Timm) Miller (third highest votes received)

The remaining councilor candidates, Sarah Bagby, Sherri Pugh, Jenni Hastings and John Rinier were literally neck-and-neck.
