Important Update: Winter Weather Conference 2020

The 28th annual Winter Weather Forecast Conference on Saturday, October 24th at 10AM.  Forecasters will once again give their best shot at the upcoming winter, as well as a look back at last year. The Oregon AMS executive council is navigating the same new waters as everyone else these days and will host this event virtually. THERE WILL BE NO IN-PERSON EVENT AT OMSI THIS YEAR!

Important Meeting Information

* Meeting start time will be 10am Saturday 10/24, via Zoom. Q&A will be allowed via Zoom only! This link will provided to currently paid Oregon AMS members ONLY!  

* A call-in phone number will also be provided for those who do not have access to Zoom.

* We will also stream this meeting live for the general public (or for later playback) on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/OregonAMS/ You DO NOT need to sign in to Facebook. This is an open link.

* The zoom link for the 28th annual meeting will be provided via email to all paid members at some point the week prior to the meeting (approximately Tuesday, October 20th to Thursday, October 22nd). Be on the lookout for this email!

* If you would like to be considered for a presentation slot at this years meeting, please be on the lookout for an RFP (Request For Presentations) email this week. The deadline for returning your completed RFP will be October 5th.

* There will be no raffles this year.

* Be on the lookout soon for an email on how to pay your dues for the 2020/21 season. New electronic options are coming this season!

* No additional Oregon AMS meetings will be held until January. Got a suggestion for a future meetings? Please respond to this email.
