AMS Request For Presentations – 24th Annual Winter Weather Forecast Conference

Hello Oregon AMS members, colleagues, et al:

It is that time of the year again. Please make sure you have your calendars marked down for the single largest winter weather forecast conference in the Pacific Northwest on Saturday, October 22nd 2015 at 10AM at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland. All ages are welcome to this free annual meeting of the Oregon Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS). In our 24th year, this meeting is sure to pack the house. What does the winter hold in store for Oregon and SW Washington?

SPEAKING SLOTS AVAILABLE — ACTION REQUIRED

If you are interested in presenting at this year’s conference, we have only a few 15-20 min speaking slots available. Please get in touch with us. The deadline to submit an RFP is September 30th at 5pm PT. We do have a budget for travel and lodging, so we welcome presenters from across the Pacific Northwest to consider this opportunity. We look forward to hearing back from everyone ASAP!
