Request For Presentations – 23rd Annual Winter Weather Forecast Conference

Oregon AMS members, colleagues, et al:

On behalf of the Oregon Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) executive council, this is a formal “Request For Presentations” (RFP) in support of the 23rd annual Winter Weather Forecast Conference to be held at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, October 24th 2015 from 10AM to 12PM. This request is open to both Oregon AMS member and non-member colleagues. If you, a colleague or someone you know would like to present a winter weather forecast, or other atmospheric science related topic (20 min or less) at this conference, please complete and return the attached RFP no later than Tuesday, September 29th 2015 at 5PM PDT. Please forward this e-mail to interested colleagues.

All completed RFP’s will be reviewed and approved by the Oregon AMS executive council and the final meeting lineup will be announced shortly after the deadline.
